Pokerstars anunta programul WCOOP. Festivalul online va avea loc intre 3 si 26 septembrie
Pokerstars a facut public festivalul WCOOP (World Championship of Online Poker), acesta urmand sa aiba loc intre 3 si 26 septembrie. Sunt programate 81 de evenimente – high, cel mai asteptat fiind Main Event-ul cu $5200 buy-in si $10.000.000 premii garantate. Intrarile in cele 81 de evenimente sunt cuprinse intre $215 si $25.000, doua evenimente avand cel mai piperat buy-in: WCOOP-51: $25,000 PLO [6-Max, High Roller] si WCOOP-66: $25,000 NLHE [8-Max, High Roller]. Nu uitati si de satelitii de calificare pentru aceste evenimente, pe bani putini se pot obtine tichete in aceste turnee in care premiile sunt de-a dreptul impresionante mai ales cele alocate primelor locuri.
Tot in aceasta perioada este organizata si o serie low destinata jucatorilor cu bankroll mai mic, cu buy-in-uri de 20 de ori mai mici, competitia urmand sa inlocuiasca fostul Mini-WCOOP.
Festivalul WCOOP s-a infiintat in anul 2002 si este echivalentul online al celebrului World Series of Poker desfasurat anual in Las Vegas. La debut, seria WCOOP a avut doar 9 evenimente, iar anul trecut programul a inclus cel mai mare numar de evenimente de pana acum: 82. In cei 15 ani de zile, Romania a reusit sa castige 5 bratari prin: Nolez7, SQUA99, mariusflush (Marius Bumb), ottoman09 si extasyman (Andrei One), dar a reusit sa mai castige un eveniment WCOOP Challenge (o serie suplimentara de turnee inaugurata in 2013) prin luckyno75 (Luciana Manolea).
