World Poker Tour World Online Championships este un festival de poker care se va desfasura pe partypoker intre 17 iulie si 8 septembrie, urmand sa garanteze $100.000.000, avand 2 evenimente de $10.000.000 garantie fiecare. Pana acum a fost afisat programul a 12 evenimente si $52.000.000 garantat, insa din cate se pare seria va include alte side-event-uri ale caror garantii totale vor insuma alti $48.000.000. Din cele 12 evenimente afisate pana acum, cateva dintre ele sunt divizate pe 3 categorii de buy-in, oferind astfel posibilitatea jucatorilor de la mai multe categorii de mize sa abordeze turneele. Buy-in-urile variaza intre $33 si $102.000. Programul contine, asa cum am amintit deja, doua evenimente cu garantii de $10.000.000 fiecare la buy-in-uri de $10.300 si $25.500, dar si un turneu Super High Roller cu buy-in de $102.000 si $5.000.000 garantat. Turneul poate nu reprezinta o surpriza si pe aceasta cale va reamintim ca recent partypoker a fost gazda unui astfel de turneu de 5 stele intitulat Super High Roller Bowl Online la acelasi buy-in, care a adunat la mese 50 de jucatori.
Pentru ca aceasta competitie sa fie cat mai transparenta si cat mai corecta, partypoker permite jucatorilor un singur re-entry in turneele no-limit hold’em championship, iar jucatorilor le va fi afisat numele real pentru ca fiecare sa stie impotriva cui joaca la mesele online.
