Lee Davy publica o lista cu cele mai bune carti despre poker votate de un grup de jucatori profesionisti
Scriitorul englez Lee Davy, fost colaborator pentru World Poker Tour si autor a mai multor carti despre poker, a fost intrebat de curand care sunt cele mai importante carti din istoria pokerului, fiindu-i solicitat sa intocmeasca un clasament orientativ. Pentru a raspunde cat mai bine la aceasta intrebare, Davy a intervievat personal 56 de jucatori profesionisti de poker din 12 tari, care au acumulat incasari de aproximativ 185 de milioane de dolari in circuitul live si peste 40 de titluri majore. El le-a oferit acestora o lista cu 129 de carti despre poker din care au fost rugati sa aleaga maxim 10 si apoi sa-i trimita raspunsurile inapoi. Fie ca au fost carti de strategie sau psihologice, povestiri de la mesele de joc sau despre managementul banilor, Lee Davy a reusit sa puna listele cap la cap si a intocmit o ierarhie cu 86 de carti, cea mai votata fiind cartea lui Dan Harrington si a lui BIll Robertie – Poker Harrington (Strategic Play Volume 1). In top 10 si-au facut aparitia Poker Super System 1 scrisa de legendarul Doyle Brunson, Every hand revealed a lui Gus Hansen, dar si celebrul „The Mental Game of Poker”, redactat de Jared Tendler si Barry Carter.
