Extras din reviewul lui Fox:
"Damn you Dan Harrington! It's just like Harrington on Hold'em all over again. You expose people to all the concepts it took many of us years to figure out and Bill Robertie helps explain it so that the average bonehead can understand it. This book is definitely going to make the games tougher, just like HoH did with tournaments.
I'm only 60 pages into HoC and already it's obvious that if you are playing no-limit cash games, you need to get this book. The stuff about the difference between short and deep stacks and effective stack sizes is going to teach a lot of players how to play with a deep stack.
Expect the games at $1/2 and higher to get tougher as most of the people in them read these books. If you haven't read them you'll be way beind.
From a working pro's viewpoint I hate these books because I don't learn that much from them while my opponents will learn a great deal. None of these concepts are new to me, they are things I've studied and discussed with other players for years, but quantifying them and explaining them so well for the intermediate player gives them to the whole world for $34.95 when very few people understood them until now."
Il cred, Harrington e cel mai limpede si substantial teoretician de poker la ora actuala si sunt convins ca volumul e o lectura esentiala pentru cine vrea sa castige constant la cash.
